After a quieter season, Meadow Lake Homestead is beginning to stir again. The stillness of the past months gave us room to reflect, to listen, and to consider what truly matters as we step into this next chapter. Now, with the new year settling in, we’re moving forward with renewed intention and a clearer sense of who we are becoming.

You may notice a fresh look taking shape. Our new logo is simple, rooted, and meaningful and will carry us into this season of growth. It reflects the heart behind everything we create here: things that feel honest, useful, and connected to the rhythms of home. As part of this transition, our current soaps featuring the outgoing logo will be available at a discount while we make space for what’s next in our bath and body line.

This year also continues our journey into storytelling. Our books are brand new to the world. We’re excited to keep building the world of Millie Makes Magic, with more stories already taking shape behind the scenes. Writing has become one of the most meaningful parts of this homestead as a way to share the gentle magic woven into everyday life.

And in true homestead fashion, we’re planting more than ideas. A garden will be taking root this spring, and preparations are already underway. There’s something grounding about planning beds, choosing seeds, and imagining what will grow. It reminds us that beginnings don’t have to be loud or perfect. They just have to be tended.
